Program Description:

SDSU’s Jacks Start Abroad programs are unique academic program opportunities for incoming first-year students to prepare for college-level work and begin a
path toward academic excellence and intercultural competence before their first day on campus. Students begin earning college credit abroad and continue
the course work during the fall semester. This program will focus on the history, culture, and modern society of Portugal. The coursework will be complimented by
guest talks, museum and palace visits, national park tours, taking part in boat and bike excursions, and overall of Portugal’s history, landmarks, culture and current
events. All students will enroll in the EXPL 292: Jacks Start Abroad course. This program is financial aid eligible.

Includes arrival campus housing/meals, airfare, all housing,

excursions, guides, entrance fees, data/risk management,

medical/security evacuation insurance

Additional Meals not included in package $300.00
