Carlow Ireland
The program begins in Carlow, Ireland where students will explore the topics of migration, the external associations, the fight for Irish freedom and the new Ireland. Students will learn Irish history, cultural practices, healthcare, brewing and sustainable farming. The program will also include Irish dance, music, food and excursions to the Wicklow Mountains, Mount Leinster, the Dunbrody Famine Ship, and several Irish castles. All students will enroll in EXPL 292: Jacks Start Abroad Global Experience. Class attendance during Fall 2024 is required.
