Students,
Consider a program to the UK -London and Edinburgh for SU 2024. This 3-week program will give School of Design students the
opportunity to explore the United Kingdom with London being at the forefront. The program will also
include Edinburgh, Scotland and focus on drawing as the common denominator between the different
School of Design programs and practices. Students will develop work in a sketchbook investigating
modes of drawing to examine how drawing connects them to place, organizes thought and aids in
visual communication. Drawing will function as a form of reportage; mapping physical and pictorial
space through design on-site while developing skill sets that apply to their fields of study. The group will
travel to historic sites and cultural institutions and will have
the option of the 2024 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
