Program Description:

Gain hands-on experience in sports coaching, community and youth physical activity and sports development initiatives, PT, OT, or sociocultural studies. With so many options, there is something for everyone. Travel to the real world. Make a difference.

Gain experience at a therapeutic horseback riding project for disabled adults and children. Learn all about how this form of therapy helps promote relaxation, coordination, muscle tone, confidence, and overall well-being. Coach sports in the Andes, in rural Cambodia, or in Swaziland. Kaya's intern abroad programs are diverse and exciting, and they all share one common, unique and important feature: They make a difference. All Kaya placements are within organizations that align with Kaya’s mission to provide genuine community or environmental benefit, while also providing you with one-of-a-kind opportunities and experiences.
